Vanguard Lofts Condos For Sale - Sarasota

Vanguard Lofts, near the cultural center of Sarasota, are in the Rosemary district and just a few blocks away from most of the amenities that downtown Sarasota has to offer. This project will be the first infill housing development of its kind in Sarasota. Anyone who loves downtown Sarasota hopes that this project paves the way for future similar housing in the area.

Right around 4th Street and Florida Ave., these lofts have two-to-three bedroom and two-to-three bathroom units. Contemporary and cool, they stand three stories tall and have outdoor access. These condos are flooded with light inside, allowing the Florida sun to brighten them nicely. It's why we go to Florida. Wood, glass and concrete structures are eco-friendly and attractive, offering roof-gazing opportunities. Many units have water views as well. Read more about Vanguard Lofts in Sarasota.

Vanguard Lofts For Sale in Sarasota

The Ringling Causeway is also a few blocks from these condos, so the ride to the beach is brief. This road crosses Sarasota Bay and ends up on Lido Key. It passes through St. Armands Circle first, where all manner of dining and shopping await. There may be celebrity spottings here; one never knows.

After the swimming, shopping and dining activities, Vanguard Lofts Sarasota residents may want to sample the cultural arts that are so alive and well in Sarasota. Ballet, symphony and visual arts are close by these condos and easily accessible. The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall is right on the bay a bit northwest of the lofts, and the Art Center Sarasota is just east of that.

The Ringling Museum is a few miles north of Vanguard Lofts and well worth a visit. Circus history will entertain the kids, and the fine art of classical masters will attract the adults. It's an eclectic grouping of artistic treasures that draws visitors along throughout the museum. The Sarasota Jungle Gardens are a bit south of the museum and offers exotic animals and gardens on 10 acres of land. There are many ways to occupy the kids, even if it rains, which is not very often.

Sarasota is a good-sized city, but it's on the Gulf of Mexico, and beach culture is the focus. Fishing, boating and nearly all other water sports hold sway along with the enjoyment of the freshest seafood available. Dress up, or live in a swimsuit. The choice is intoxicating, and living in Vanguards Lofts Sarasota makes it all possible.

Beware of possible inundations of visitors. They won't pass up a Florida trip to see "dear friends and relatives." Stock up on the wine and let the party begin.

Urban Infill refers to the developing of vacant or under utilized land within existing city, downtown or urban areas that are already largely developed. With the strong Sarasota real estate market developers are seeking under developed parcels to create new, more popular condos and homes.

Urban Infill in the Rosemary District

If you drive around the Rosemary district of downtown Sarasota you will notice dirt being moved and several "coming soon" signs on vacant land. Vanguard Lofts is a new condo project located near 4th Street and Florida Avenue. Contemporary and cool, they stand three stories tall and have outdoor access.

Around the corner the new Cityside apartment complex construction is under way. Phase 1 of the four-story complex will consist of 228 apartments. Phase 2, projected to begin immediately following the completion of Phase 1, is planned to be roughly 242 residences on 3.6 acres.

Another interesting new project nearby is Valencia at Rosemary Place. This ritzy community is located right behind the Renaissance condos and will home 30 posh townhomes for residents to choose from, ranging in size from 1,900 sq. ft. up to 2,500 sq. ft in 8 deliciously designed spacious floor plans, each with its own garage.

Re-energizing North Downtown Sarasota

With the addition of these residential units in the Rosemary district we should see more shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Which will make downtown Sarasota even more diverse and vibrant. With several apartment communities underway we should see the area become more affordable. This will pave the way for a younger downtown Sarasota. I think it will just be a matter of time until we see a while wave of hip new coffee shops, restaurants, bars and shopping in the Rosemary district.
