Snow is beautiful.  Seriously, the way those little flakes gently float down and ever so delicately land is just breathtaking. I appreciate the beauty of snow, I really do...from the comfort of my home in Sarasota, on the flat screen.  What? It's a 60 inch high def, so it's ALMOST  like I'm there. I live here for a reason. That reason is, the cold is so incredibly uncomfortable to me and I am a baby. I cannot even fathom living somewhere where the "winter" months actually involve snow, sleet and hail.   When the temp here drops below 75, I pull out the winter clothing.  Yes, I look silly I'm sure.  Walking down Main Street in a full fur jacket, snow boots and a scarf, but in my defense my other fellow Floridian friends are wearing the same…

Lakewood Ranch is one of my favorite areas.  Every single time I venture out that way, I discover something new. This place is HUGE!

One of the biggest challenges real estate agents face is managing the expectations of potential buyers . Many of our buyer clients are from out of town and are made up retirees, vacation home buyers and those looking to relocate to the Sarasota/Bradenton areas. Many of them are not familiar with our real estate market so sometimes their expectations are out of line with their budgets.

Yesterday, one of my agents was telling me about a potential buyer coming to town that wanted a three bedroom condo on the beach with magnificent water views for $150,000. Moral of this little nugget. Remember, even when you are not wearing your Realtor hat, you're still representing the Realtor community.  You never know where new clients will come from, or who is watching or listening.  Act wisely.

I will always remember when Andrea and I unintentionally met. I'm a very firm believer in right place at the right time, and everything for a reason.  This is one of my many favorite stories.
